The distinguished guests of the evening were Hon'ble Chief Minister, Shri Naveen Patnaik, Deputy Speaker Shri Lalbihari Hemirika, Editor, SAMBADA, Shri Soumya Ranjan Patnaik. They visited the Mela, went around the stalls, met the participating men and women from different tribes and were happy about the arrangement.
The audience enjoyed the tribal dances of Dhurua, Dongria Kondh and Saora tribes. Thereafter, the tribal students Siripur Sevashram and K.I.S.S. also presented enchanting tribal dances.
There was a great rush to see the exhibits in the tribal stalls set up by 21 ITDAs & 17 Micro Projects and also the stalls of various other departments. There was a lot of interest to buy the tribal products being sold by various tribal women SHG groups in the Tribal Hat. The visitors also tested various kinds of delicious tribal food items in the Tribal Food Plaza.
The Mela closed at 9.00 P.M.
