In the glorious evening of 13 th day of the Adivasi Mela, Hon’ble Minister of Science & Technology, Sri Ramesh Ch. Majhi and Hon’ble M.P. Bhubaneswar Sri Prasanna Patsani participated as guests. Hon’ble Minister, in his speech said that this Mela is a platform for cultural integration of the tribals and they are mainstreaming by the impact of urban civilization and culture. Sri Patsani in his speech thanked the organisers for bringing the tribal talents to Bhubaneswar and performing before the public. The Member Secretary of Academy of Tribal Languages and Culture, Prof. A. B. Ota thanked the guests by designing the intention of the Adivasi Mela in brief.
In the cultural programme, the Santal Dance of Baripada, Karana dance of Sundergarh, Gadaba dance of Koraput, Jhodia Paraja dance of Rayagada, dance diversity by the school students of Koraput, Gotipua dance of Konark Sevashram and Putasingh girls High schools had attracted the visitors.
