Traditional Culture Gives Happiness
Bhubaneswar, dtd. 06.02.2014, The Adivasi Mela-2014, displayed unique mix of culture to attract the mass visitors of all ages. As it has passed its 51st years of celebration and still its glamour, flavor and craze glorify its popularity. People often ask us why it remains most popular even today. The answer must be with the visitors, the products which are available here and most importantly the people (tribals), whose simplicity and faithfulness reache the heart of audience.
Visitors felt that they were lucky enough to take pleasure in the rare combination of traditional products in the contemporary place. That is not all. People are moving around the Mela grounds evaluating the traditional civilization and culture of tribal communities. This is a place where most needy and useable things are available in one place.
In its open air stage the dance displayed by tribal people of Odisha was tremendously pleasurable and eye catching events of the Mela. Visitors enjoyed and were enthralled with such extraordinary albeit artistic display of dance forms.
Today's cultural evening was compelling the viewers with its traditional folk and mix dance performances, which were presented by the school students of different I.T.D.A.s and Micro Projects, such as , I.T.D.A. Nawarngpur, Hill Khadia Mankadia Development Agensy, Jasipur, I.T.D.A. Koraput, ITDA Rairangpur, I.T.D.A. Baliguad etc.
