Adivasi Mela, 06.02.2011 (Twelveth Evening)
 

In the twelveth evening of the Adivasi Mela, larger number of people and gathered in the Mela ground. As it was a Sunday, it had created a good opportunity for the people of Bhubaneswar to enjoy fully. The colourful light arranged in the Adivasi Mela campus was at per with the red light of setting sun. Hon’ble MLA of Dabugaon. Sri Bhujabala Majhi had attended as the guest of the cultural programme of the evening. His message in the evening speech was the message of culture. He said that the tribals could be benefited if the welfare programmes meant for them can be implemented successfully. The development of Orissa can be possible with the upliftment of the tribals.

The cultural programme of the evening was very attractive. The whole mela campus was filled with joy in the Oraon dance of Panposh region of Sundergarh district. It was followed by the Bhuiyan Dances of Rugudakudar and Sambalpuri dance performed by the troupes from Padmapur region of Baragarh. The dance diversity of students of Rabadi girls schools of Rayagada and Bhatarabasini girls schools of Nabarangpur was quite attractive.

The visitors had also purchased many tribal products available in the Adivasi Haat.
